The “Life Without Limits” 1/2 marathon, 5K & Fun Run for United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Alabama is a showcase run through the scenic Shoals area. All proceeds go to benefit the children and families of UCP. We serve children with varying disabilities and hope this event will inspire runners near and far to come out and support these amazing little ones!

Race Day Schedule
Parking: Parking is available in the Conference Center lot. However, the Start/Finish for all 3 events is in this lot so please be cautious and patient when exiting.
To be eligible for the chip timing, no registration can be accepted after 7:30 am on Race Day. This is to ensure everyone is in the system and the race starts on time. Packets are available on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Race Day from 6:30 to 7:30am.

The race will take runners through both the city streets of Florence and across two bridges that span the wide Tennessee River which flows through the heart of the city. The bridge crossings will involve some significant changes in elevation both on the ascent and descent, but much of the rest of the course will feature a mixture of flat and fast stretches along paved surfaces, as well as rolling hills in some sections, on both sides of the river.
The 5K course is an ‘out and back’ starting at the Marriott and going across Wilson Dam.
There will be a water / gatorade station around miles 2, 3, 4, 5, 7.5, 8.5, 10, and 11.5
E-gel will be available on the 1/2 marathon course around mile 8
A public restroom is available on the TVA at the bike trail around mile 8 and around the 11.5 mile mark after passing the Singing River Bridge.
** Relay teams will meet at the halfway point on Hatch Blvd (labeled Woodward Ave on map).
Parking will be available at the Clarion Inn across the street. Please be cautious when crossing Hatch Blvd and arrive no later than 8:30am.
